Jörg Leichtfried Quartet
Originally featured as a guest performer at the Royal Garden Jazz Club in Graz, Martin Harms has advanced to become a permanent member of the formation. The program of the quartet sounds powerfully vibrant  and then lyrical and smooth all at the same time. They successfully move through a highly aesthetical range of original compositions  to arrangements of Massive Attacks, Hildegard Knef or Simon and Garfunkel.
Pianist Jörg Leichfried and drummer Hubert Bründlmayer have collaborated in various jazz projects and formations for over 10 years. So it seemed obvious to invite the much sought-after bass player, the Slovakian Stefan “Pista” Bartus to join and expand the trio started by Leichtfried.
